The Conservatory for Coffee, Tea & Cocoa has been a thriving and vibrant part of the Culver City community since 1995. Birthed out of the imaginations and hard work of a local family, it quickly became a hangout spot that appealed to local Culver City residents as well as Sony Studios employees, who found it to be in the perfect spot after a short walk for a coffee, espresso, macchiato, cappuccino topped with a velvety foam heart or a fresh coffee rosetta latte amid the grind of cranking out movies or music.

We challenge ourselves to procure the best green coffee beans from around the globe and to bring out their best profiles as well as varying natural coffee roasts to delight our varied and educated clientele.

We've created uniquely satisfying coffee blends for some of LA's best restaurants including Melisse, Pho Sho and Maple Block as well as our very own CCFD's Firehouse Blend and our beans fuel some exceptional cafes around town.  

In our hearts we like to believe we have something for every coffee lover, and yes, we've converted a few of our tea lovers. Most of our natural coffee however is single origin. Dark Roast drip is offered until noon and we carry Italian and French organic coffee roasts for those that prefer something darker than our usual method of roasting. Each bean has it's own profile and we enjoy bringing out the best in each for your exploration.

As in the past, The Conservatory for Coffee, Tea & Cocoa continues to offer more than 50 unique loose leaf teas, tea blends, tisanes and herbs from around the world on our Great Wall of tea served both hot and iced.

For the cocoa lover we delight in whipping up our own whipped cream to top one of our hot chocolates; sweet, less sweet (more cocoa) or spicy...Mexican hot chocolate, or SPICY Mexican Hot Chocolate...if you can resist the whipped cream they all still hold their own. Based upon our chocolate bar finds we usually host a variety of bars for the quick fix that rewards the chocolate fan for a job well done.

Kids of all ages love experimenting with flavors in our Italian sodas, and those with the coffee sweet tooth make daily pilgrimages for our blended specialty drinks.  The Conservatory is confident that you will find a delightful organic beverage that appeals to your exact desires, no matter what time of year or what day of the week it is. Even little ones enjoy our famous "babyccinos"- thick velvety foam in a cappuccino cup with a spoon, dash of cinnamon optional.

A full selection of pastries, mouth watering baked goods, bagels and healthy snacks round out The Conservatory's offerings. We also carry coffee and tea making supplies across from our back counter. Let us help you find the right set up for your home brewing and steeping needs.

As for customer service, we all know that empty feeling one gets when service is poor or nonexistent, that's why when you walk through our doors we try to give you the attention you deserve. We want you to feel special, like you are part of the family.
